We’re excited to announce that the latest LBRY Desktop update, Joule, is now live! It features:
- A new homepage with various views. The goal is to allow more customization in the future.
- Improved navigation around new/top/trending
- Revamped invites system
- Better markdown and other text format support
- AppImage (Linux packaging) that supports auto-update
- Removing reliance on OS tokens (moving to a local cookie)

This brings it up to parity with the lbry.tv design and features you’ve been seeing on the web recently. It also includes the latest SDK release which has a faster wallet syncing mechanism
