I just want to know how can I earn LBC through contributing?

I looked at lbry.tech/contribute, but I am still not sure how I get started contributing as a developer. How do they know what I work on, and how do I get Lbry credits. I have a Lbry channel, and need some tokens. I have not worked with ReactJS, but I have worked with C++, .Net, and Angular. Is there a video with steps for getting up and running and being a contributor?
